COASTAL SPRINGS Premium Spring Water Processing

Using stainless steel Grunfos pumps, water is pumped from the naturally flowing surface spring and two spring bores into five holding tanks. Our plant can hold 300,000 litres of spring water at any one time.

From the holding tanks the spring water is pumped progressively through 5, 3, and 1 absolute micron filters to remove any sand or floating particles.

We then introduce ozone, sterilising and cleansing the water to remove possible bacteria.

To soften the spring water, it is then recirculated and the ozone level is constantly monitored to ensure a sterile product before bottling.

Residual ozone will ensure a sterile product is maintained after the bottling procedure.

The spring water is then piped direct to the bottling machine where it passes through yet another 15 micron filter, or to the tanker via a 50,000 litre per hour pump.

By the tanker, we can supply you with untreated, filtered or ozonised spring water.

Your bottled spring water is shipped out, less than 36 hours after it is pumped from the spring. Tanker deliveries are within 24 hours of pumping from the spring.

The holding tanks are thoroughly washed and sterilised every 4 weeks.

The food grade pipeline between the holding tanks and in the processing plant is also sterilised every 4 weeks.

Our bottling plant is completely emptied, washed and sterilised daily.
